Someday, India's first 'proper' dance Movie

A 15-year-old from Canada posted a comment that shall make everyone sit and think. "'Why do you dance?' Why do you breathe? Because I need to! Right back at ya." He likes dancing to breathing and so many of us youth today are in constant need of that one medium that shall help express ourselves best.

Perceptions play such an important role in shaping today's youngsters. If you are perceived to be the shy one then you may not end up as the popular one; if you are to be perceived to be the loud one you may end up with an image of being 'freely available'. This is when many turn to some or the other form of art in order to find their true self; be it poetry, music or dance.

Dance can be extremely powerful in helping one communicate; it can help one express a gamut of emotions and at the same time make the other understand one's true identity. Someday, India's first 'proper' dance movie aims at putting across all these ideas using the dance form of B-boying. B-boying is flexible and abstract and powerful and 'Someday' wishes to show how this dance form can be used as a medium of communication for the youth at a time when the increasing parent-child gap is widening further enough to cause much grief to both parties.

Someday shows that it is never too late to rectify your mistakes and art is just one of the many forms that can be used effectively for this purpose.
